Claudius

There is a beauty and power to poetry, and Claudius seeks to spread the word through social media, merchandising and a new literary journal.

In late 2015, I was hired by poet K. Augustus to assist in the planning, branding, and execution of several sub-entities under the Claudius umbrella. In this role, my contributions ultimately shape the overall strategy and vision of Claudius itself.

Literary Journal: Claudius Speaks
Claudius Speaks, due to launch Spring 2016, devotes its pages to outsider and minority voices with powerful stories that deserve to be heard.

  • Help develop overall vision and voice of literary journal
  • Create, manage and delegate tasks to ensure the orderly execution of product
  • Contribute feedback on submissions to finalize journal content, including contest materials
  • Oversee branding and external communications (social media, web copy, postings across literary outlets)

Merchandising: Claudius Keepsakes
Claudius Keepsakes, due to launch Spring 2016, incorporates the poems of K. Augustus into unique products for fans of beautiful words to enjoy.

  • Assist in the planning, research and development of the product line, which includes mugs, magnets and more.
  • Strategize on marketing materials, both consumer and press facing, to spread awareness of and interest in the Keepsakes line.
  • Provide insight and advisement to ensure quality control for products and distribution.
